STEP 01
Send your artwork or a physical reference, or let XJY develop the packaging design with you.

STEP 02
We make a physical sample so you can confirm the structure, material, print, and finish.

STEP 03
After approval, we produce, inspect, pack, and prepare your custom boxes for delivery.
1. Choose the construction

Ships flat and suits efficient retail packing.

Non-collapsible construction for premium presentation.

Fluted protection for ecommerce and delivery.

Sliding reveal with optional insert or ribbon pull.

Two-piece format for gifts, sets, and keepsakes.

Hinged opening for a reusable premium experience.
2. Choose the material
Each image shows one material family. Final grade, caliper, color, certification, and availability are confirmed against the project specification.

Bright white surface for high-quality color, fine graphics, and premium retail cartons.
Choose the caliper around product weight, box size, and stacking needs.

High stiffness-to-weight board with a smooth printable face for folding cartons.
Useful when presentation and material efficiency both matter.

Natural fiber appearance for understated retail, food, and lifestyle packaging.
White ink, fine color matching, and grease resistance require project review.

Thin fluted board for mailers, heavier products, and added transit protection.
Liner, flute, print route, and packed-product testing are selected together.

Dense board wrapped with printed or specialty paper for premium setup boxes.
Board thickness and insert support are engineered around the product.

Colored, uncoated, or tactile face paper for distinctive premium presentation.
Availability, print compatibility, rub resistance, and color variation are sampled first.
3. Choose the print process
Best suited to detailed graphics, photography, and repeat production with controlled color.
Specified solid inks for critical brand colors, kraft stocks, and restrained graphic systems.
Selected for prototypes, shorter runs, specialty papers, or coverage that needs a different process.
4. Choose the surface treatment
Not every finish suits every board or artwork. Images illustrate one effect at a time; production appearance is approved with the relevant physical sample.

Low-glare protective film with a calm, premium appearance.

High-sheen film that lifts color saturation and surface wipeability.

Velvety tactile film for premium packs; dark solids should be scuff tested.

Metallic accent applied with a heated die for logos and controlled detail.

Raised relief without ink or foil, shaped by matched dies and board response.

Recessed tactile detail for restrained branding and material-led design.

Selective gloss over a contrasting surface; artwork and registration are reviewed.

Light water-based coating for print protection and a restrained satin sheen.
Before mass production
A project can move through a structural blank, printed sample, or production-equivalent proof depending on the risk, timing, material, and finish. The approved specification becomes the reference for production and QC.
