STEP 03

Produce and deliver

After approval, we print, form, inspect, sleeve, carton, and prepare the cups for delivery.

1. Choose the cup format

Match insulation, capacity, rim, and closure to the beverage

Single-wall paper cup with a fitted lid

Single-wall cup

Efficient construction for many cold drinks and selected hot-drink programs.

Double-wall insulated paper cup shown in cross-section

Double-wall cup

Additional paper layer improves hand comfort and creates a premium print surface.

Ripple-wall paper cup with a corrugated outer sleeve

Ripple-wall cup

Textured outer sleeve adds grip and insulation for hot beverage service.

Paper cold-drink cup with a fitted lid and straw opening

Cold-drink cup

Cup, barrier, rim, lid, and condensation performance selected for chilled beverages.

Wide-mouth paper ice-cream cups in several capacities

Ice-cream cup

Wide-mouth, short formats for scoops, desserts, toppings, and frozen service.

Nested paper vending cups and a dispensing profile

Vending cup

Dimensions, rim, release, stacking, and material consistency aligned with machine dispensing.

2. Choose the board and barrier

Drink, temperature, hold time, and disposal route guide the material system

Board, barrier, seam, ink, lid, food-contact documentation, and end-of-life requirements are confirmed for the actual market and use.

White paperboard cups and board cross-section samples

White paperboard

Bright printable surface for clean graphics and broad beverage presentation.

Board weight and barrier are selected around drink, temperature, and hold time.

Kraft paperboard cups and natural board samples

Kraft paperboard

Natural exterior appearance for coffee, tea, tasting, and casual beverage programs.

Interior barrier, print contrast, seam performance, and rim forming require project review.

Paper cup board with a thin PLA lining shown in cross-section

PLA-lined board

A plant-derived lining option considered where performance, sourcing, certification, and local disposal systems align.

Compostability must not be assumed without the relevant product certification and waste route.

Paper cup board with a water-based barrier coating

Aqueous-coated board

Water-based barrier systems may reduce plastic content for suitable drinks and service conditions.

Barrier performance, forming, recyclability claims, and documentation are confirmed per specification.

3. Choose the print process

Flexographic print

Efficient repeat printing for common cup formats, spot colors, and service programs.

Offset-converted route

Selected when detailed sheet printing and the final cup construction are technically compatible.

Specialty or prototype route

Used for sampling, launch evaluation, selected shorter programs, or special graphic requirements.

4. Choose the exterior treatment

Control appearance and rub resistance without compromising forming

Exterior coating and print are reviewed separately from the food-contact barrier. Final claims depend on the approved material specification.

Printed paper cups with a low-glare matte varnish

Matte varnish

Low-glare exterior coating for a restrained printed appearance.

Printed paper cups with a glossy exterior varnish

Gloss varnish

Higher-sheen exterior coating that lifts color and surface contrast.

Kraft paper cups with an uncoated natural exterior

Uncoated kraft look

Material-led exterior with natural fiber character and restrained graphics.

Paper cups with continuous full-wrap printed graphics

Full-wrap print

Continuous graphics developed around seam, taper, rim, and converting tolerances.

Before production

Approve the cup with the intended drink, lid, and service conditions

Confirm capacity, brimful volume, lid fit, temperature, hold time, barrier, nesting, print, sleeve count, carton count, and required food-contact documentation before production.
